• The City
Puno is a nice little city right on the shore of Lake Titicaca, located on Peru´s Altiplano (high plateau). Just a few hours from the border with Bolivia, it is the most important city in the region and makes for a perfect resting spot for those planning an overland trip into one of Peru´s southern neighbours.
The city's biggest attraction is its proximity to Lake Titicaca. The Point Puno staff will be happy to assist you book tours, visit attractions around the city or arrange to explore the floating islands.
